Covenant Fellowship Church FAQ

If you are a first time visitor to our site, you may find answers to your questions here.

Covenant Fellowship Church is a non-denominational congregation. We are a people created by God, in Christ; empowered by the Holy Spirit; called, and sent to bear witness to God's creative, redeeming, and sanctifying activity in the world.

All power in the Church belongs to the Head, our Lord, Jesus Christ. All actions of this congregation are to be carried out under His rule and authority.

Our church could be considered casual, but this really just means that ties and T-shirts are both welcome. With that being said, we are not casual in our approach to God, and if you visit you will find a people dedicated to the Lord, and sincere in their love for Him.

The music that accompanies our worship service is contemporary, yet blends traditional hymns and gospel songs with modern, meaningful worship music. Sermons are primarily expositional in nature, with occasional topical studies.

Several times during the year we will have guest speakers from various missions’ organizations, including Voice of the Martyrs [http://www.persecution.com], Christian-Jew Foundation [http://www.cjf.org] , and Mobilization India

The makeup of our congregation comes from every age, social, ethnic and economic background. We are united in our love for one another and for our Lord!

We are an outreach-oriented church, and have several programs that are designed to reach our immediate community and the surrounding communities, including our Angel Food Ministry Program [http://www.angelfoodministries.org/], and the Servants of the Lord Motorcycle Ministry.

We offer full nursery, children's programs, youth group, and adult activities.

Statement of Faith

In short, this is what we believe. Click Here to read our entire Statement of Faith, or follow the link at the bottom of this page.

GOD

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

THE WORD OF GOD
We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God.

MAN
We believe everyone is born with a sinful nature and needs God's gift of salvation.

SALVATION
We believe that salvation is the gift of eternal life from God, received through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is the living body, of which Christ is the Head, and all who believe in Him are members.

ORDINANCES
We believe in the two New Testament ordinances of water baptism and the Lord's Supper. Neither of these ordinances is a means of obtaining salvation.

LAST THINGS
We believe in the personal and visible return of Jesus Christ to the earth and the establishment of His kingdom where believers will live in a state of eternal bliss in the presence of the Lord.
